The Phynnodderee is the last remaining giant on the Isle of Man. He is not, strictly speaking, a "giant"—standing only 8 feet tall—but this is the result of a curse inflicted upon him by Mannannan for attempting to abduct a fairy from his court. Despite, or perhaps because of, this curse, the Phynnodderee is a helpful soul, often known for assisting with plowing and locating lost sheep. In appearance, he resembles a satyr, possessing horns and hairy, goat-like legs. He retains the powers of a *Gruagach* and possesses an external soul, which he has hidden somewhere on the island. He also has the ability to turn invisible, and he typically carries out various useful tasks while remaining unseen. #Ars Magica #heroic fantasy

Spooky sh*t

Abbot Lawrence Martins was an acquaintance of Richard de Marsh from their seminary days; the two would read many of the same books and spend long hours debating morality. When Richard delved deeper into the diabolical, Lawrence managed to pull himself back from the brink. Upon being assigned to Rushen Abbey, Lawrence hoped to leave that past behind him—but Richard, acting on the orders of his demonic masters, ensured that Lawrence was gradually promoted to the rank of abbot, and sent the imps of Devil’s Den to dog his steps. #Ars Magica #heroic fantasy
