Sir Arthur de Willforth, an apprentice to a Jerbiton magus, lost his Gift following a laboratory accident during his Gauntlet; he subsequently reinvented himself by becoming the steward of a newly founded covenant on the Isle of Man, known as Boeayl Booa. #Ars Magica, #Heroic fantasy,

The Phynnodderee is the last remaining giant on the Isle of Man. He is not, strictly speaking, a "giant"—standing only 8 feet tall—but this is the result of a curse inflicted upon him by Mannannan for attempting to abduct a fairy from his court. Despite, or perhaps because of, this curse, the Phynnodderee is a helpful soul, often known for assisting with plowing and locating lost sheep. In appearance, he resembles a satyr, possessing horns and hairy, goat-like legs. He retains the powers of a *Gruagach* and possesses an external soul, which he has hidden somewhere on the island. He also has the ability to turn invisible, and he typically carries out various useful tasks while remaining unseen. #Ars Magica #heroic fantasy
