The valravn (meaning "raven of the slain" in Old Danish) is a supernatural raven from Danish folklore, rather than ancient Norse mythology. It comes into being when a raven devours the hearts of soldiers who have died on the battlefield. If it eats the heart of a child, it can transform into a valravn. #Maggus RPG #Heroic fantasy #Danish mythology
